Cuttmill House, Cuxham

Recently completed, Mill House, a former Grade II listed building boasts a handsome contemporary design which effortlessly combines the building's natural historical charm with 21st century technologies and design.

Situated in the heart of Oxfordshire the client has put forward an exciting brief which has seen this property become a unique family home adapted for 21st Century living but still maintaining the look and feel of the old Mill.

In any restoration project the balance between restoration and alteration is a delicate one but with years of experience in similar heritage projects BTP are confident they have satisfied both sides so as to fulfill the properties potential.

As the project nears completion Mill House remains unmoved from its defining characteristics of a 20th Century Mill, and yet below the surface there lies the undercurrent of a modern 21st century home ensuring the property continues to stand the test of time in the centuries to come.

"It has been a pleasure to work with BTP on the complete renovation of our Mill House.

We received professional and friendly service from the planning stage right through to completion and have also had additional help subsequently, which has been very reassuring.

The advice and support we were given was particularly helpful as it not only guided us when choosing new systems for an old house but also introduced us to innovative and cost effective options, which we may not otherwise have been aware of.

BTP not only worked well with us but also liaised effectively with architects, contractors and other professionals working on our project.

We would not hesitate to recommend BTP to anyone wanted sustainable and cost effective engineering advice and design."
