Gillender Street, London
A new residential development of 109 homes in Bromley-by-Bow, set within the Lime House Cut Conservation Area.
Comprising three buildings of one, two and three bedroom flats, this new collection of homes takes inspiration from the wharf-like industrial vernacular of the Easy London context.
The new buildings sit adjacent to the River Lea and the Lime House Cut canal at the Bow Locks. The development also creates a new public realm and access to the River Lea with improvements to the Lime House Cut canal walk. The buildings are designed with strong references to the riverside warehouse architecture of London and a close relationship to the water’s edge.
