New Sports Building

The school was founded in 1945 in the beautiful setting of a grade 2 Listed building built by Norman Shaw in 1883. Since then the school has thrived and grown from a Boys' school of 40 pupils to a mixed independent education facility, with over 600 students.

Additional facilities including Nursery, Library, Design and Technology, Sports Hall, Forest school, Music, Arts and design centre have been built with remodelling on the site to provide a dynamic and stimulating educational environment.

The existing facilities for the school's sports community fall short of what is required for a school this size. The existing pavilion building is no longer able to provide suitable accommodation for visiting teams and the local sports community. Anderson Orr was originally approached by the school to work with them to help find a sustainable and creative solution to the problem.

The proposed addition of a new Pavilion building aims to provide an opportunity to strengthen its connections to the local sports community as well as providing a solution to the space planning of the school's sports education program.
