Who We Are

Founded in 2018 by father and son team John and Ben Grazebrook, BTP is an engineering consultancy built on a foundation of technical excellence, transparency, and approachability. With offices in London and Cheltenham, we deliver innovative solutions across the UK and support a growing international client base. Our collaborative ethos and commitment to quality have earned us a reputation as trusted partners in projects of all scales and complexities.

What We Do

We specialise in the design of mechanical and electrical systems, offering expert advice on energy strategy, carbon reduction, and building physics. Our in-house lighting design team brings creativity and precision to every project, using cutting-edge digital tools and CGI visualisations to develop compelling interior and exterior lighting concepts.

Our dedicated Net Zero team offers expert guidance on all aspects of carbon reduction—from energy strategies and low and zero carbon (LZC) studies to Part L compliance, thermal comfort, daylight analysis, natural ventilation, passive design, and dynamic simulation modelling (DSM).

In-house engineering services include Revit 3D modelling, BIM coordination, digital visualisations, CGI, and video animations, helping to communicate design intent clearly and effectively.

Our Focus

We focus on the detailed design and specification of low-energy, sustainable buildings, integrating a wide range of energy-efficient technologies. Our work includes low-carbon heating and cooling systems, heat recovery ventilation, photovoltaic (PV) generation, battery storage, thermal stores, and water recycling solutions.
